I’ve been writing for this website for four years. Long story short, I let my hosting lapse and I lost content. Including my most referenced blog post, which detailed exactly how much I spent over the course of 9 days in Iceland. It linked to a spreadsheet, which included what I spent — down to the cent.
Unfortunately, I had none of this data saved outside of my blog (why oh why did I save over that spreadsheet!?). Sorry to tempt you with such detailed bookkeeping, but because I don’t have trip receipts from nearly two years ago — I moved onto another piece of content that has been on my “to-create” list.
Specifically, an “Iceland Travel Guide” for a 9-day solo trip to Iceland. It includes how I booked my flights, where I stayed, what I did, places to eat and drink, what I would do differently and money-saving tips. This 9-page pdf is packed with information (as I’m known to do), and even links to a Google Map with each site pinned and color-coordinated. I’m the epitome of a planner, so creating this guide was my definition of fun. If this guide serves as a resource for even one person and convinces them to visit this magical country — I’m living my best life!
