Belize Travel Guide: San Pedro

Belize wasn’t necessarily on my “must-visit” list, but when a flight sale crossed my desk, aka my email inbox, I jumped on it. I received the email at 7am and by 7:30, our trip was booked.

After a whirlwind trip to Iceland and Amsterdam, Nic and I were very much drawn to the idea of a ~tropical honeymoon~. We wanted to go one place and allow ourselves the freedom to do whatever we wanted, whenever we wanted — rather than pre-plan all of our excursions. The only activity we booked ahead of time was an all-day “Chill Tour,” under the assumption that it would be… well… chill.

So! This guide is best for those who want a legitimate vacation, with affordable adventure sprinkled in! I share how we got to San Pedro, where we stayed, where we ate, what we did — as well as what I would do differently on the next go ’round and last but not least, money saving tips.
